Please help identify a song

I've just started listening to a new rock radio station in Portland, 105.9, and they've played this song a number of times. Google doesn't twig to the few lyric bits I've managed to remember so I'm hoping there is a rock guru out there who can help. It's a rock song with vocal harmonies in it and to me it sounds a lot like Journey. I think the lyrics are from the chorus section:
